Meet the Faculty

Tracy Tolisano - CREATIVE DIRECTOR / OWNER

Dancing since the age of two, Tracy’s expertise had guided her to New York City on highly coveted dance scholarships. In 1987 she began as a backup dancer for several major Hip Hop, Pop, Latin and R&B recording artists. Tracy was contracted as a featured dancer at the famous NYC Roseland and Limelight Nightclubs for all of the recording artists on a year-round basis.


At the age of 19 Tracy was awarded a 10 year contract with Matrix Essentials to Choreograph all of their trade and fashion shows and train their dancers and well as serve as lead dancer on the Matrix Essentials Team while traveling in every major city in the United States as well as Japan, Taiwan, Italy, Australia, Check Republic, Canada and England.


Tracy has also choreographed for the Hartford Hellcat CBA Dance Cheerleaders, Arena football’s Connecticut Coyotes All-Star Jam, featuring Magic Johnson, Dance Jam with the New York Knicks City Dancers, Leukemia society’s Annual Lea’s Valentines Ball, First Night Hartford’s New Year’s Eve Opening Ceremony as well as, for the Broadway Bound Tappers.

Tracy’s choreography has been showcased at Madison Square Garden, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Hollywood Studios, St. James Broadway Theater in NYC, Mohegan Sun Arena, Foxwoods, to name a few.


Tracy previously owned and operated her own dance studio, for fourteen years, in Wethersfield, CT before opening the studio in Guilford. She continues to modernize her dance education in New York City as she currently resides here in Guilford with her family. Tracy was awarded the SMALL BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR in 2010 for her work in the Guilford community.

In 2019 Tracy created a nonprofit called The LIMELITE project “Girls for Girls”. It is run by her students and its mission is to empower young women and celebrate girls’ inner beauty. As of 2023, the project has raised $58,000 and has gone directly to helping women and children in need.

  • Carly Feldman

    HIP HOP, JAZZ, BALLET, POINTE, ACRO, LYRICAL, TAP

    Carly has been dancing for 14 years and it has become a passion of hers. She specializes in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, pointe/ballet, tap, and acrobatics. Carly holds titles in national competitions, performs for professional basketball, lacrosse football and baseball teams. She has danced throughout the United States including the Walt Disney World Parade, The Saint James broadway theatre in New York City, Is a featured performer in The Times Square New York City showcase with Corbin Bleu, she is a featured dancer at many arenas including Madison Square Garden, Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods Casino, Providence Dunkin’ donuts Center, Webster Bank Arena, Uconn, Yale, The Epcot Theatre, Downtown Disney, Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, and many more.

    Carly is a founder of the Limelite Project, which raised $18,000 for The Women and Family Life Center during their Girls for Girls Gala in 2019.

    While Carly has accomplished many achievements in her dancing career she has also achieved many accomplishments with her choreography. Her choreography holds national and regional titles, she has choreographed for Limelites arena shows that were mentioned above. Her choreography was shown on Broadway stages, famous arenas, Walt Disney Worlds stages and many more. She choreographs, Tap, Jazz, Pointe/Ballet, HipHop, Acrobatics, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She truly has a passion for teaching kids and transforming them into the best dancers they can be.

  • Brooke Feldman

    HIP HOP, TAP, JAZZ, BALLET, LYRICAL

    Brooke has been dancing for 16 years and it has become a passion of hers. She specializes in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, pointe/ballet, tap, and acrobatics. Brooke holds titles in national competitions, performs for professional basketball, lacrosse football and baseball teams.   • Marina Gallicchio

    HIP HOP, LYRICAL, TAP

    Marina started her 25 years of dance training at Limelite in Wethersfield, CT in 1993. She has since dedicated herself to dance. She has studied jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, and pointe.

    Through Limelite, she has been involved in classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, where she was introduced to dancers such as Frank Hatchett and Slam, as well as participated in Starbound competitions, where she placed at high gold and platinum. She has also participated in the Rockette Experience dance classes in New York City. Marina has also choreographed and performed for Mohegan Sun Arena Lacrosse and Basketball as well as traveled with the Limelite Dance Team to Main Street USA in Disney World where she has choreographed dance team performances for the Epcot stage.

  • Monica Boretsky

    CONTEMPORARY, BALLET, POINTE, YOGA, TAP

    Growing up in Madison, CT, Monica found a home and love for dance at Limelite Dance Studio. From her first tap class with Miss Tracy came an extensive study of dance. Monica auditioned for and attended ACES Educational Center for the Arts for her high school education, located in New Haven, CT. With a concentration in dance, Monica studied ballet technique, contact improvisation, modern dance history, Modern, African dance, yoga, and more. Monica’s study for dance brought her to travel to the Shanghai Theatre Academy in Shanghai, China, where she collaborated with dance students and instructors. Monica began having choreography showcased on stage when she was 15.

    Monica attended Hofstra University, located in New York, earning dual-degrees in Management and Marketing all while continuing to perform and study dance in the city.

    Having studied various styles of dance, Monica’s passion is ballet technique and contemporary. Her goal is to give to others what a dance education has given her in life. Through teaching dance, Monica provides a space where dancers can hone their craft, find their own passion, and have fun. Monica has her 200 hour yoga teaching certification.

  • Lisa Zajkowski

    ACRO TEAM

    Lisa fell in love with dance and acrobatics at 5 years of age in Long Island. She studied jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, and her favorite, Acro. She began competing at age 7. She was awarded many platinum and high score awards with her groups & solo performances. At age 10 at the United States Tournament of Dance, she was runner-up Petite Miss Acrobat. Lisa also traveled to the city and attended classes at Broadway Dance Center. In high school, she juggled dance with varsity cheerleading which became her second love.

    Lisa started teaching dance at 14 as an assistant and then began teaching and choreographing her own classes at 16. She created and ran an after school dance program for her local school district. At age 19 she took the leap and opened her own dance studio. Her competition students competed with much success. Eight years into owning her studio, Lisa moved out of state and sold her studio to one of her assistant teachers. In the following years, she began her cheerleading coaching career in both high school and competitive cheer programs.

    Lisa has since been lucky enough to stay home and raise her four children. She has continued her acrobatics instructor training and is extremely excited to be back in the dance world and bring new acro skill and training to Limelite.

  • Carlos Laboy

    CONTEMPORARY, BALLET, JAZZ

    Carlos Laboy started dancing at the age of 11 with the Albano Ballet Company based in Hartford CT. He became a preprofessional dancer at the age of 14 and grew into a professional dancer at the age of 18. Dancing on the Mohegan Sun arena stage at age 11, he knew he had a lot of opportunities coming his way throughout his dance career. Carlos had his big debut dancing on the Rudolf Nureyev Estate in Monte Carlo performing Peter and The Wolf, where he played as Peter. That was the first time he has traveled out of the United States for a Gig. This summer, Carlos was chosen out of hundreds to dance and act alongside international students from all over the world. He spent seven weeks, studying, training and learning how to dance as well as teach dance to urban students in the Westchester County. Growing as a dancer, he continues to take class at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

  • Sage Jackson

    BALLET, JAZZ, LYRICAL, TAP, HIP HOP

    Sage has dancing at Limelite for 13 years. She has been a member of Limelite Dance Team for the last five years, during which she has performed at various iconic venues - including Walt Disney World, Madison Square Garden, Mohegan Sun, and more.

    Sage has trained in jazz, tap, contemporary and ballet, and continues to do so at Limelite. Sage looks forward to another incredible year of dancing and teaching at Limelite!
